The goal of Bank of America’s on campus pop-up is to educate students on banking since digital cannot fully supplant the physical banking experience, where clients want to engage through relationships to support complex banking needs. The design of the structure is inspired by the logo but takes an sculptural abstract form. The design has different angular shapes that are part of the architecture and aesthetics. The red is carried out as a pop of color contrasted against the white. There are glass openings on all four sides of the pop-up to open up the space and give a peak into the space to the people walking by.
The design describes a sophisticated, functional and comfortable space that makes the visitors feel welcome and helps them with their problems. As they walk into the pop-up, the first experience is the ATMs that create a pathway to the reception area. Then moves from the lounge and community area to the meeting room or video room and lastly the restroom. The space is technology driven to better help its visitors and help the brand reach younger people to help them create a base for their finances while being in a modern and refined yet practical on campus pop-up.
